OK.gov, the state's official Web portal, has provided Oklahoma citizens and businesses with 24/7 access to state government information and services since 2001. The portal offers more than 374,000 pages of information and interactive services, which are accessed nearly 25 million times each month. OK.gov was created to improve access to government, reduce service-processing costs and enable state agencies to provide a higher quality of service to their constituents. Oklahoma's government uses a variety of information technologies to support these initiatives, but the use of integrated web portals, like OK.gov, bring these initiatives together.
